COURSE DESCRIPTION
ENA’s Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course is designed to provide the core-level pediatric knowledge and psychomotor skills needed to care for pediatric patients in the emergency setting.
Emergency nursing care of a child with an acute illness or injury requires special knowledge and skills.
The course presents a systematic assessment model, integrates the associated anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology, and identifies appropriate interventions. ENPC is the only pediatric emergency nursing course written by pediatric nurse experts.
A two-day intensive course with expert instructors. ENPC is a two-day intensive course taught by expert instructors. There is a faculty ratio of approximately one faculty per four learners.
Hands-on training using both an individual and team approach. Teaching scenarios offer you the opportunity to practice the systematic approach of the initial assessment in real-life situations.
Online learning:Online modules allow you to learn at your own pace and refer to information at any time.
Evidence-based content developed by pediatric emergency experts. A comprehensive Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course Provider Manual, includes special emphasis on age and developmental stages.
Continuing Education are awarded for 15.58 contact hours
An ENA ENPC four-year provider verification card will be issued to those registered nurses who achieve 80% or higher on the multiple-choice exam and 70% or higher on the skill station evaluation.
ENPC, Fifth Edition provides fundamental pediatric emergency nursing content with expanded information including dermatologic and environmental emergencies, human trafficking, food allergies, and more.
Triage and Prioritization Respiratory and Cardiac Emergencies Shock Trauma Communicable and Infectious Diseases Dermatology Child Maltreatment Human Trafficking Food Allergies, Pain Crisis Intervention Submersion, Heat and Cold Emergencies Hematology/Oncology Toxicology, Procedures and Sedation Stabilization and Transport Disaster Behavioral Health Medication Administration, Vascular Access Pain, Procedures and Sedation.
