The opportunity has finally arrive for support, education, guidance, discussion, and relationship building among the Charge Nurses at HaysMed.
OBJECTIVES
Following this program the participants can be expected to:
1.Explore basic principles and ethics of frontline leadership.
2.Identify roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities of charge nurse leaders.
3.Practice with tools to develop front line nurse leaders so they function effectively and interprofessionally in their respective environments.
4.Determine self-care and resiliency strategies to promote success in the charge nurse role.
COURSE REQUIREMENTS:
Will need to read the "The Effective Charge Nurse Handbook" and completing worksheet prior to course.

HaysMedicalCenter is approved as a provider of continuing nursing education by the Kansas State Board of Nursing. The course offering is approved for 4.0 contact hour applicable for RN or LPN re-licensure. Kansas State Board of Nursing Approved Provider Number: LT0021-1138.
