OVERVIEW STATEMENT
At the conclusion of this program, participants will have an increased knowledge of the most current technologies and also will be able to interpret 12-Lead ECGs in order to obtain the most accurate reading.
OBJECTIVES
Following this program the participants can be expected to:
1.Describe the differences between the limb leads and the precordial leads.
2.Identify the normal characteristics of a 12-lead ECG.
3.Localize inferior wall, anterior wall, lateral wall, septal wall, posterior wall, and right ventricular myocardial infarctions on the 12-lead ECG.
4.Identify complications often associated with the various AMI presentations.
5.Discuss the importance of “serial” ECG’s.
6.Identify the imitators of STEMI on the 12-lead ECG.
