APRN's, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and other interested Healthcare Professionals.
OBJECTIVES
At the conclusion of this program, the participants can be expected:
1.Describe physiologic, or “normal”, birth.
2.Identify evidence-based interventions that promote progress in first and second stage labor.
3.List at least 3 positions that are conducive to physiologic birth
4.Demonstrate at least 3 non-pharmacologic pain interventions for labor and birth.
