GOAL
The goal of the Cardiovascular Case Studies will be to create an open forum for the discussion of cardiovascular care and outcomes at HaysMed.

OBJECTIVES

Following this program, the participants can be expected to:
   
  • Understand the recommended cardiac interventions based on evidence-based knowledge and practice in the care of patients with cardiac issues.
  • Build knowledge related to cardiac issues and symptoms.
  • Review cardiac cases based on cardiac assessment, diagnostic studies and laboratory data.

    MEASUREMENT OF SUCCESS
  • Improvement in stroke core measure compliance.
  • Improvement in Get With the Guidelines-Stroke measures.
  • Improvement in cardiac measures related to door to balloon, medium time for PCI, door to door out to PCI.

    TARGET AUDIENCE

    Physicians, PAs, ARNPs, RNs, LPNs, Respiratory Therapists, Social Workers, Radiology, Speech Therapy, PTs, OTs, Cardiovascular and Stroke Team members and other interested Healthcare.Professionals.

    CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS

    All participants are required to complete and sign a "verification of attendance" form. After the program, a certificate of completion will be provided to activity participants based on documentation of actual attendance time.
